"Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us, for it is written: “Cursed is everyone who is hung on a pole.”" - Galatians 3:13
As believers, we are no more under the curse. Christ took it. We are blessed through faith in Christ with Abraham's Blessings. No one who relies on the law is justified before God, because “the righteous will live by faith.” “The law is not based on faith; on the contrary, it says, “The person who does these things will live by them.” - Galatians 3:11-12
On the cross, Christ became a curse for us. He represents all of mankind in His death. He took the curse of God upon Himself so that anyone who believes in Him will be Blessed and not cursed. The individual is passed from death to life, from darkness to light, and from defeat to victory.
"For He (God) has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son He loves, Who purchased our freedom and forgave our sins." - Colossians 1:13-14
Our sins are forgiven through Christ's blood sacrifice. This nullifies every other ancestral covenant held, agreement, and sacrifice. Christ gave His life on the cross (altar of blood sacrifice in our stead); my blood can no longer be shed on any blood-thirsty ancestral shrine. Christ died once and for all, for all believers. We are blessed by trusting in His sacrifice on the cross. This Altar is above all other alters established by humans. Every curse is broken and nullified by the Power in the blood of Jesus. They have no power over us who are in Christ Jesus. God raised us in Christ and we are seated with Him in Heavenly realms far above all principalities, powers, and dominions. We have authority and Power over these evil rulers and the powers of darkness. We are set free and liberated from satan’s hold and kingdom which inflict ignorant men with sickness, diseases, oppression, and depression without their resistance or fighting back.
Prayer - Thanks be to God who gives us victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. We give you thanks, Abba Father, for the Newness of life we have in Christ Jesus.
