We must be in total dependence on Christ who atoned and sacrificed on the cross for us. We must be blood-bought believers, a new creation with transformed hearts and renewed minds. 2 Cor 5:17, Rom 12:1-2.
For He has rescued us from the kingdom of darkness and transferred us into the kingdom of His dear Son, who purchased our freedom and the forgiveness of sins. Col 1:13-14.
Examine your heart that you are clear of offenses. Unforgiving spirits will hinder effective prayer. “If I regard iniquity in my heart, the Lord would not have listened." Ps 66:18.
"But if we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us..." 1 Jn 1:9.
Pray, read, and meditate on the Word. Daily communion with God and the Holy Spirit will draw us into a closer fellowship with Him and makes us desire to know Him better.
We must be aligned with the Word, which is the truth of Christ. Our hearts must agree with the Word without doubting. Knowing the Word will help you pray according to God’s will, depending on the Holy Spirit who helps us in our weakness and intercedes for us.
BENEFITS: You have boldness to speak God’s word. You can paralyze the forces of darkness coming against you and win! You become more than a conqueror. Rom 8:37.
You are protected from all evil. There is provision made available for you. (Elijah and the Zarathustra women.)
Be ye imitators of Christ. Walk in the footsteps of Christ. He would always rise up early and go to the mountain to pray. Like the early apostles, devote yourself to prayers and reading of the Word.
Saints! The Holy Spirit pleads, pray, always pray. Do not give up praying. Your effective fervent prayer will change you, your circumstance, friends, neighbors, and all those around you!
