There is overcoming Power in the blood of Jesus. The blood becomes powerful when you apply it.
How do we apply the blood to the challenges and situations in life. We apply the blood by speaking it the word and in prayer. Apostle Paul says in 2 Corinthians 4:13. “We believe and therefore we speak”, Proverbs 18:21 says, The power of life and death is in the tongue. Settle your destiny by the words of your mouthIn Matthew 12:47 the Bible says, “For by your words you will be acquitted, and by your words you will be condemned.” We want our words to justify us. Speaking out what the scriptures says about the blood, proclaiming what Jesus did for us defeats Satan the devil. We overcome by our declarations of the power in the Blood of Jesus. For example praying the scripture of Ephesians 1:7 “In Him we have redemption [that is, our deliverance and salvation] through His blood, [which paid the penalty for our sin and in accordance with the riches of His grace” You say , Through the blood of Jesus, I have been redeemed , saved from sin and delivered out of the hands of the devil.
Romans 10:10 says “The heart that believes in him receives the gift of the righteousness of God—and then the mouth confesses, resulting in salvation”. With your mouth, you speak deliverance, victory Peace and prosperity over you as you apply the blood with the word. Declare it over you and your children . The blood of Jesus was shed for our deliverance, salvation, protection and healing .Release God’s authority through the blood over all that belongs to you. Whatever you apply the blood of Jesus on belongs to Christ snd cannot be me touch by Satan.
In Exodus 12:22, the Israelites were commanded to kill a lamb and sprinkle the blood on the sides and top of the door frames of their houses. When the death angel passed thtough that night, their lives will be spared. “When I see the blood, I will pass over you” ( Exo 12:7,12-13) So also in Christ ‘blood, we are protected. The scriptures says in 1Corinthians 5:7” Christ our Passover lamb has been slain for us.” There is power in the blood of Jesus for our protection. In Hebrews 13:12 , it says “ Christ suffered outside the gate I order to sanctify us through His blood”. The blood of Jesus satisfy God’s Justice; because Christ’ suffering, crucifixion, death and Resurrection is a full, perfect and sufficient sacrifice. He said, “ IT IS FINISHED”. The blood defeats Satan and removes his authority over us. It has destroyed the power of sin. When we sprinkle the blood of the lamb, God is present and Satan is put to flee. “And they overcome him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.”.
( Rev 12:11) The blood has power over the devil. Wherever you apply the blood,the devil cannot go near where the blood is appeared.
You have come to Jesus, the one who mediates the new covenant between God and people, and to the sprinkled blood, which speaks of forgiveness instead of crying out for vengeance like the blood of Abel. ( Heb 12:24) The blood shout mercy over our lives. Mercy triumph over judgement . In Romans 5:1 the Bible s as “Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.” There is no condemnation but redemption and forgiveness. We triumph over Satan through the blood of Christ. But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory [as conquerors] through our Lord Jesus Christ. (1cor 15:57).
We are protected by thd blood of Jesus because we are in relationship with God. “But now you have been united with Christ Jesus. Once you were far away from God, but now you have been brought near to him through the blood of Christ.” This is a mystery that Satan and his dark forces cannot comprehend. The blood is out defense and shield against the enemies attack. There is no need to fear because they cannot come near us or touch us. Invoke the mystery of the blood of Jesus. Apply the blood of Jesus to the doors ( entrances of your live and home, bedrooms, sheets and pillows, rooms , academics, businesses and so on. Speak the word as you do so. Satan has no power nor authority over us. The power within us is the victory by the blood of the lamb. Generational sin and curses and cancelled by the blood of Jesus. The blood breaks the power of curses passed down by our ancestors. Jesus death on the cross has redeened Us from the sins of ancestors. The truth sets free. “And you will know the truth, and that truth will set you free.” (Jn 8:32)
Here are some scriptures to meditate and pray over. As believers in Christ, we have been transferred out of darkness into light and out of the authority of darkness into the kingdom of the Son of the Father's love (Col 1:13) Through the blood of Jesus, we can release God’s Authority to defeat and overcome satan’s attacks against us. EPH 2:13
But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ. 13 But now you have been united with Christ Jesus. Once you were far away from God, but now you have been brought near to him through the blood of Christ.
Galatians 3:13-14 Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree”),that the blessing of Abraham might come upon the Gentiles in Christ Jesus, that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.
